Children's MinistriesJesus said, "Let the Little Children come unto me." We at East Naples UMC believe children are the heart of the Church and an important part of our Church family. ENUMC strives to provide ministries for children of all ages as well as their families.
Sundays: Sunday School for Children PK-5th grades meets in a One Room Sunday School class in small group format upstairs in the Education Building every Sunday at 9:30 AM. Nursery: The Nursery is available for children 3 years of age and under on Sundays during all services. The Nursery is located in the Education Building downstairs in the Learning Center. Our nursery is staffed by experienced and screened adult staff members. Children's Church: Children's Church meets on Sunday mornings during the 11 AM service. All children meet in the Sanctuary and come up to the front for a special Children's Sermon. Following the Children's Sermon the children are escorted upstairs in the Education building. This is a worship service that is all their own. Children recite pledges, learn Bible stories, sing, and create craft projects.
Wednesday: Wonderful Wednesday Kid's Club meets upstairs in the Education building every Wednesday from 5:30-7:00 PM. We provide a kid friendly meal and hands-on Bible lessons to engage children in an active spiritual journey. Wonderful Wednesday is designed for children ages 4-12 and is always lots of fun. The children are broken up into appropriate age groups, so they can learn on their own level. In addition, adults may participate in the Wednesday night dinners in the Fellowship Hall from 5-6 PM, and then attend a Bible Study or the Mid-Week Service from 6-7 PM. All are invited to come and be a part.
