Rev. Javier Barroso is an ordained Elder in The United Methodist Church with nearly 15 years of pastoral experience marked by faithful leadership, creativity, and a deep commitment to Christ-centered ministry. He comes to East Naples UMC on July 1, 2026 after serving congregations in both Puerto Rico and New Jersey, most recently at Manasquan UMC along the Jersey Shore.
Throughout his ministry, he has demonstrated a passion for congregational revitalization, discipleship, and community engagement. His leadership has helped churches rediscover their mission through dynamic worship, the development of worship teams, and innovative ministries that integrate the arts into the life of the church. With a background in graphic design, visual arts, and music, he brings a unique ability to communicate the Gospel in creative and accessible ways, often bridging traditional and contemporary expressions of faith.
Having served in both Hispanic and English-speaking contexts, Javier offers strong multicultural competency and a heart for building inclusive communities where all people are welcomed and encouraged to grow in their faith. His ministry reflects a collaborative and empowering leadership style, equipping others to use their gifts in service to God.
He and his wife, Diana, are grateful to be in Florida, where they can be closer to family. They are joined by their children, Abnel (18) and Gabriela (9), as well as their beloved corgi, Rolo, and cat, Luna. Together, they look forward to building meaningful relationships and partnering with the congregation in living out God’s mission with hope, creativity, and a spirit of connection.

She has a background in education, having worked as a special education paraprofessional for approximately six years; she has also worked in tutoring centers and served as the Head of Collection Ce

Diana was born and raised in Puerto Rico, hailing from the town of Camuy in the island's northern region. She has a background in education, having worked as a special education paraprofessional for approximately six years; she has also worked in tutoring centers and served as the Head of Collection Centers for the Methodist Church of Puerto Rico’s Re-Ace program. Diana has served in the Methodist churches where her husband has been appointed, focusing on education and worship ministries. She is the mother of two wonderful children, Abnel (18) and Gabriela (10). Diana enjoys reading, crafts, art, and spending time with her family.

Scott Hall
Scott is from Berea, a city in Northeast Ohio located just outside of Cleveland. His family owned and operated a Ford dealership that had been started by his grandfather in 1924. After attending Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, Scott returned home to Berea to help manage the family business.

Scott is from Berea, a city in Northeast Ohio located just outside of Cleveland. His family owned and operated a Ford dealership that had been started by his grandfather in 1924. After attending Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, Scott returned home to Berea to help manage the family business.
After the sale of the dealership in 2008, Scott began residence in Winter Park before eventually moving to Naples in 2019.
Scott has been active in community affairs as a board member and president of two Chambers of Commerce, a member of Rotary Club, and has also been active in various trade organizations. His current activities include cycling, golf, and playing guitar.
Scott’s three daughters still live in Ohio, and he encourages them to visit whenever possible.

Gladimar de Jesús Marín achieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Early Childhood and Primary Education from Ana G. Mendez—Universidad del Este, Puerto Rico. She holds her CDA (Child Development Associate), NICCM (National Institute for Child Care Management), National Administrative, Texas Director and the Florida Director credentials. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Gladimar has been working in the education field since 2009. She began her career at a tutoring center as a Study Hall teacher. She operated a preschool at home for three years. Next, she spent four years at a private school, teaching various grade levels from 1st to 6th grade. She also taught middle school Spanish in a multilevel group for one year. She started working as a Preschool teacher at The Learning Center at ENUMC in February 2023 and became the Director in June 2023.

As a member of ENUMC Don was an usher and answered the need for the church to stream our services to those members, who could not attend in person. Don has a BA in Visual and Performing Arts from U.M.B.C., he has a long and varied career as a performer which led him naturally to a second career in technical theater. He has been a production manager, videographer, lighting designer and stage manager for organizations and companies such as: Spanish River Concerts, Elmhurst School for Dance (Birmingham, UK) , Louisville Ballet, Boca Ballet Theatre, Sudbrook Arts Center In Md, Pennsylvania Regional Ballet, Brandon Ballet, and many others. He currently also runs https://dancetech.net/a full service production company specializing in Productionand Video Streaming services for Dance, Theater, Opera, and Concerts.
